OUR MISSION

HOW IT BEGAN

Fit man training shirtless at Invicta Performance gym in Edmonton, highlighting strength, health, wellness, and sports perfor

We founded Invicta Performance because we saw that too many clinics treat their patients the same way, like parts on a conveyor belt. We believe that everyone’s health needs are different, so we’re set on changing things.

We aim to give everyone who comes to us care specially planned for them. It doesn’t matter if you’re a young child, a senior, an athlete, or someone just trying to stay active, we listen to your needs.

We want to move away from the one-size-fits-all approach so everyone gets the personal attention they deserve. This is our way of making sure that everyone in Edmonton receives the best care for their needs.

INVICTA'S PHILOSOPHY

Our approach is straightforward: we don't take shortcuts. We focus on innovative methods that genuinely work to improve your health.

Our team is committed to finding the best ways to help you heal and strengthen. We take the time needed so you get the proper treatment for your situation.

For us, it’s all about you receiving the highest quality of care with no compromises.

Educational Background and Mentorship

Dr. Joshua Konu’s education at The University of Western States laid the foundation for his career in chiropractic care. He had the privilege of learning from esteemed mentors like Dr. Craig Kawaoka and Dr. Jun Kawaguchi, known for their expertise in sports injuries and biomechanics.

These experiences gave Dr. Konu a great understanding of the complexities of spinal health and joint functions, especially in athletic contexts.

This mentorship helped shape his approach to treating injuries and understanding how body mechanics influence overall health.

Specialization and Approach to Care

Dr. Konu specializes in postural correction, sports injuries, and rehabilitation.

He focuses on understanding how the body’s biomechanics contribute to these issues and uses this knowledge to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.

His approach goes beyond typical adjustments, integrating techniques that address the root causes of pain and imbalance. This strategy ensures that each patient receives targeted treatments to relieve symptoms and promote long-term health and mobility.
